Hey Shellie -- wow, it's great that they're re-releasing these classics. I've not read them yet, but I was intrigued when I saw the SciFi Channel's 2000 movie on the series (and okay, I'll admit it, the actor who played Nero was hot!). I know they recently re-did the series earlier this year -- nice to see a neat story getting some attention. Too often good stories can get pushed aside in favor of lighter fare...

Oh, and it looks like your traveler is going to tell the bear some good news -- perhaps the traveler is a bear himself and can shape-shift?

    Nicole -
So did we mess this one up, has it already been shown on the
TV? I had John check out the movie listing online...We do not watch hardly any TV.

So the main guy is hot? *giggle* I will have to hurry up and read this first before I watch the tv show since watching the movie first messes the book up for me.

You know that is interesting about the good news from the bear and shape shifting....
Although the bear's face looks a bit sad so perhaps its bad news? There are stories everywhere you just have to look...don't you think?

I have been in the dark with this one, so thank you for bringing this up. I am so interested in this. Thanks.

    Your welcome Shain -
I would not have know either except for the folks at Tor.

Now to get that first book read before the series starts... but I am dreaming... since I wish I could read that fast!
