I just finished Heretics Daughter this week... I liked the history part of the book but found the book itself to drag and spill out information a bit too slowly for my liking. This one looks good - does it read at a semi fast pace?

What I do here on Layers of Thought is post a "preview" of the book with all the book stats, publishers book blurb, author info, and purchasing links. Publishers, Publicists and author's seem to really like it.
A lot of bloggers do a whats in my mail box. Perhaps I will go that route at some point. ????
Then when its read I post a "review" with what I think and a basic beginning synopsis... and then link the posts. Books get read in the order they are recieved... unless there is a special circumstance....I think it keeps eveyone happy and serves to give two chances for readers to become familiar with a book.
I have found that readers often become confused with this set up. I have been thinking about how to remedy that... but have yet to think of a way. I hope that helps.
So not sure yet how it reads.... I'm waiting for my ereader to come in February since its not a hard copy.
