Harvest Header ~ 2011

harvest goddess 921 header

We have a new header posted in honor of ~ The Harvest Season! ……. just in case you stop by and don’t recognize Layers of Thought.

For those of you that are new readers (there are quite a few from the Halloween giveaway hop), we change our header seasonally, and occasionally on a whim, because it’s intriguing and fun.

Attributions for the gorgeous artwork will be added when we arrive back home since the information is on the good blogging computer and we are currently traveling. California wine country is exceptional this time of year, and the ripe grapes are hanging on the vine.

We adore this beautiful harvest goddess and are honored to have her oversee our celebrations of thanks for the upcoming seasonal events!

Happy harvests everyone!

I'm definitely a new reader. Thanks for the heads up. Like the idea and the blog looks great.

Welcome Cassandra!

Thank you! I have the basic blog set up so any (almost) header will work and then change it and sometimes the font color.

I can't decide if I should or not?

You should try it....
Off to check out your blog!

I think it's a good idea. Shellie. Keeping things fresh:) Thanks for following my blog. What a really small worcoincidence that you have the same giveaway planned for your giveaway hop this Thanksgiving.

Looks like a great series and Melissa let me review them. Looking forward to them.

Cassandra -
It is funny - I have been working with Melissa for some time now too...

I hope you enjoy your books.

Oh, I love this header! And the fact that you change them seasonally, or just whenever you feel like it.

I'm like that.

I envy you the travels through the wine country. It's been two years since I went to Napa!

Thank you Laurel -
I just love changing them, and don't be too envious we are here since my gran fell and was in the hospital - she is recovering now but thought that may not happen.

So not all fun and games - it is home for me.

But for you - living so close you should visit at least ever 6 months!

Nice! I always look forward to seeing what you come up with next! She reminds me of Herne the Hunter, but much prettier. :)

Happy Harvest!

Thanks Alexia -
Never heard of Herne the hunter - will have to Google that one...

She has the horns of a deer and the mask of the green man... ..Not sure what the significance is - perhaps another Google??? Goodness I love the internet.
