Book Challenge - GLBT Challenge 2009

GLBT Challenge - July 1, 2009 to Dec 31, 2009

Here is my book list for my first challenge joined here on layers of thought. It is hosted by Amanda from The Zen Leaf. Click on the title of this posting to link you to the challenge page on her site.

It is a 6 book challenge (I have posted 10 - for the ditch factor), where we will read books and post their reviews from authors whom are or who write on the GLBT theme. The challenge runs from July 1 2009 to December 31, 2009.

Amanda - Its a great challenge - I had the list all finished for awhile but not published yet so I'm live now....not sure how to change the mr linky link on your site so it directs to this specific page though? perhaps not that important.
Thanks.

I'm not sure how some of those books fit the GLBT themes. (I'm talking about Macbeth, Frankenstein, Moby Dick, Interview with a Vampire, and Metamorphosis.) Granted, I've not read Moby Dick or Interview, but I've seen the movies and have seen no problems. The others I've read and can't understand.

Logan - thanks for the comment. I was thinking the same thing, when I decided to read these books. I do know that there are lists on the web that are compiled for this particular theme. So either the author is GLBT or the book has some themes within the book which are specific to the the GLBT community. I do know that these things are not as apparent to those of whom are straight. But granted it does make some of the reading very interesting. It will be interesting to see when I read them. If I can get through them.
