Challenges ~ 2012

2012 Reading Challenge List.

Yes, it’s that time of year again. The challenge-joining frenzy is upon us. And here is our list of challenges I have decided that John and I will attempt for 2012. (Quote from John – “Huh?”)

I have tried to kept it “light” this year, but at 10 challenges I think perhaps not too “light”.

I will be adding the books that we read linked to their reviews into this post, which will be accessible via the tabs at the top of our blog so if you wish to access it again you easily can. And all the badges below link to the challenge host’s main post, just in case you would like to join in too!

I joined the European Reading Challenge as well and I'm browsing a little through the participant's list. I'm so interested in what everybody is reading for the challenge!
I kind of feared that this blog tour would make me want to participate even more challenges ;)
And ooooh nooo. The Global Reading & the Nordic & the Middle East challenges all sound so tempting as well ;)
Ah well, we'll see!
Anyway, I'm curious what books you'll choose so I will come back for more! Happy reading!

I tried to be good this year and not join too many challenges, as I usually overextend myself. You found some interesting ones I hadn't seen before! And I'm sure John will rise to the challenge! *L*

From One Experience -
Welcome home from Asia and welcome to the book blogosphere!

I promised myself not to over do it this year... but look what I have gone and done. As a new blogger (several years ago) I just could not say no to challenges. Now as a bit more seasoned blogger.... well I have not done much better - 10 challenges is a lot.

We should get quite a few books with a European setting or author this year since we did last year as well. I am hoping for some good ones!

Thanks for commenting! Looking forward to your thoughts. *grin*

Alexia -
Yep you and are the same. I could not control myself. I was thinking 5 challenges...nope!

Have you seen the blog - A Novel Challenge? It lists tons of challenges going on, which is where I found some of these.

So you liked John's "huh?" huh? lol...

I will be by to check out your challenges soon!

Thanks for signing up for the European Reading Challenge. I look forward to seeing which books you pick!

The Nordic Challenge is a good crossover. I hadn't seen that one before -- thanks for the tip!

Thanks Rose -
I like the Nordic Challenge as well. But I am afraid we may be a bit on our own for that one.

Looking forward to what you and everyone else reads.

To be honest I do not need any more challenges beside the one saying keep your blog alive and improve.

Anyway I hope you will enjoy the challenges.

You know Edi -
I agree, and was thinking the same thing but I guess I just could not resist.

I am thinking if we do not compete them I am glad there is no challenge police... *grin*
