Thanks for stopping by and commenting; nice review of yours too, by the way.

It's an intriguing question isn't it? We have such a natural inclination to treat older people with deference, and to suspect younger people of having less wisdom. I can't imagine a world where you can't get a sense of someone's age with one quick glance.

Mind you - with today's craze for cosmetic surgery and a focus on looks, maybe we're closer to that odd situation than I'd like to think.

I agree that this book was more thought provoking that you'd think at first glance. One question I found that came to mind was: If you couldn't tell age from appearance, how does that affect the way you treat people?
